Account and data deletion

You can permanently delete your Qbitgate account and the personal data we hold with it. Deletion cannot be undone.

Delete from the app or the web

  1. Sign in to your Qbitgate account.
  2. Open your Profile page.
  3. Tap “Delete my account” and confirm.

In the mobile app the same action is on the Profile tab. Deletion happens immediately — you do not need to send a separate request.

If you cannot access your account

If you lost your phone or your sign-in method, email us your deletion request. Once we verify the account is yours, we complete the request within 30 days at the latest.

What gets deleted

  • Your account details: name, email, linked Google/Apple account and all sessions.
  • Identity verification data: national ID number, the name and date of birth read from your ID card, and the biometric photo read from its chip.
  • Your face recognition template.
  • Phones you paired and their device keys.
  • Rooms you own, together with their meeting minutes and summaries.

What is not deleted

  • Aggregate usage counters that cannot be linked back to you (for example the total number of meetings on the platform). These records contain no name, email or identity data.
  • Content in rooms owned by other users that does not belong to you.
  • Records we are legally required to retain, and only for as long as the applicable law requires.
